DAY WISE TOUR ITINERARY

  • Start your exotic trip to Dalhousie by boarding the Volvo from Delhi Volvo pick up point (Guests are requested to report at scheduled time & Pickup location will be mentioned on your provided ticket). Overnight journey will be by Volvo. Dalhousie.Dalhousie is a hill station, near town of Chamba in Chamba district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated on five hills .Dalhousie Town was named after The Earl of Dalhousie, who was the British Governor-General in India while establishing this place as a summer retreat.
  • Today arrive at Dalhousie Volvo point ,Pick up from Volvo point and transfer to Dalhousie hotel. Check in the hotel and relax some time. You can taste the food in local market or nearby restaurant. Rest of the day will be free to explore the local Market. Overnight stay at Hotel.
  • After breakfast we will leave for sightseeing of boating at Chamera lake, hike up at the Kalatop wildlife sanctuary and also pay your respects at the Chamunda Devi Temple. You will then head to Khajjiar where you can choose to visit famous places like Khajjiar Lake and the Khajji Nag Temple. In the evening drive back to Dalhousie and take some rest. Later you are free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Dalhousie town, known as The Mall in Gandhi Chowk. Enjoy the dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • After breakfast start your drive towards the Dharamshala.Soak in the scenic views of the majestic Dhauladhar ranges lined with tall oak and pine forest. The rest of the day is at your leisure. By evening, get dropped to the Dharamshala hotel and overnight stay.
  • Wake up early to enjoy the mesmerising views of the sun rising above the beautiful Dhauladhar Ranges. Post breakfast you will visit Dal Lake, which is the holiest lake in the upper Dharamshala near Naddi. Then visit St. John Church, which is a marvellous church that stands between the thick deodar forest near McLeod Ganj. Visit Bhagsu Nag Temple, a very popular temple dedicated to Lord Shiva along with the famous Bhagsu Waterfall,Tibetan Monastery, which is the main and most popular tourist attraction in Dharamshala city. In the evening, watch the temple of His Holiness “The Dalai Lama” and explore many Tibetan markets, restaurants, and Tibetan handicraft shops. Later return back to the hotel in Dharamshala for an overnight stay.
  • Breakfast at the hotel,Post breakfast proceed back to Delhi where you will be directly transferred to Railway Station / Airport for your onward journey. Return back to your home town.
